Former Jamat-e-Islami (JeI) chief Qazi Hussain Ahmed has blamed India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Israel’s Mosad for fuelling sectarian violence in the country by attacking shrines and religious places.

Speaking during a seminar here, Ahmed also criticised the security agencies, and said that they were trying to run away from their responsibility by blaming religious organisations for the terror incidents.

Commenting on the Kashmir issue, he objected to the resumption of the Indo-Pak dialogue and said that for talks to resume New Delhi should first admit Kashmir as disputed region.

“Negotiations with India must not be initiated unless and until India recognizes Kashmir as a disputed territory,” The News quoted Ahmed, as saying.

Meanwhile, incumbent Jamaat-e-Islami chief Munawar Hassan blamed controversial private American security firm Blackwater and US marines for last week’s twin suicide attack on Lahore’s famous Hazrat Data Gunj Bukhsh shrine.

“Blackwater and US marines want to destabilise Pakistan,” Hassan said while addressing a press conference in Karachi.
